The skills you need to acquire

The purposes of these notes is not to teach you how to use the WEB and e-mail, but rather to indicate what skills you will require and how you might go about acquiring them. By undertaking one of the Arts and Humanities IT courses or by using the books and online resources listed above, you should ensure that you know how to do the following:

Browsing the WEB (See the World Wide Web section of Learn the Web: http://www.learnthenet.com/english/index.html or http://www.learnthenet.com/english/section/www.html to go directly)

Searching the WEB (See the 'Digging for Data' section of Learn the Web: http://www.learnthenet.com/english/index.html or http://www.learnthenet.com/english/section/digdat.html to go directly)

Using e-mail (See the 'Email' section of Learn the Web: http://www.learnthenet.com/english/index.html or http://www.learnthenet.com/english/section/email.html to go directly)
