IEL homepage: index of units

Welcome

Welcome to the IEL homepage. Below you will find the links to the Units and to the Comments on Activities.

You will see that the units are available in two different forms. Firstly, we provide a sub-set of units in an interactive format. With these interactive units you can type in answers to the activities and receive immediate feedback and commentary. Currently some 7 units are available in this form. Unfortunately you will need a copy of Microsoft Internet Explorer version 4.5 or higher/later (the latest version is 5.5.) in order to view these pages correctly. If you don't already have version 4.5 or higher installed on your computer, it is available free of charge and is widely distributed on the cover CDs of many computer magazines. It can be downloaded from the Microsoft site at IE download link. If you don't have, or can't get access to, a copy of Microsoft Internet Explorer (perhaps you use some version of the Netscape browser), then you should access the units in the non-interactive format, links to which are provided below

As well, you will see that, where appropriate, we have provided links to external Web sites which may be of interest/assistance.
